Have you added Pass Loss & Theft Cover to your InterRail pass order? Pass Loss & Theft Cover is only available with purchases made online from this website.
Follow these steps if your InterRail pass has been lost or stolen:
During your trip
- Obtain a police report within 24 hours of loss. This report must include the same name as printed on the InterRail pass and must clearly state that the pass has been lost or stolen.
- Continue your trip with replacement tickets to a maximum value as specified in the terms and conditions of the Pass Loss & Theft Cover.
- Make sure you keep all your travel tickets.
After your return
- Download the claim form.
- Follow the instructions on the claim form.
- Send your claim by post within 31 days after the latest validity date as printed on the InterRail pass.
These steps are also described in the brochure that you get with your InterRail pass.
InterRail passes are non-replaceable. If your pass gets stolen or lost, you will need to buy costly replacement tickets to continue your trip. The Pass Loss & Theft Cover will cover these extra costs up to the remaining value of your pass starting from the day it was lost or stolen.
