Printed maps

A printed map may be useful to take with you on your InterRail trip. Besides the free compact map that you receive with your Global Pass, we recommend the Rail Map of Europe by Thomas Cook Publishing. It shows all passenger railways of Europe, from the Atlantic to Moscow.

Reading PDF-files

The Traveller's Guide is offered in PDF-format. To read a PDF-file you require a PDF reader like Adobe Acrobat Reader, which will be present on most computers. If it is not installed, you can download this free software from the Adobe website. Another, more lightweight PDF Reader is Foxit Reader.
