Visiting Austria

Austria has the best of both worlds: a great cultural heritage and a spectacular landscape. The capital Vienna is home to incredible architecture and one of the four largest art collections in the world. Or visit Salzburg, the birthplace of Mozart and setting of The Sound of Music. The Alps, which cover 75% of the country, are great for all sorts of activities like skiing and hiking. The most popular ski regions are The Arlberg, Kitzbühel, the Montafon valley and of course Innsburck, twice host to the Winter Olympics.

Visiting Switzerland

Switzerland is the rooftop of Europe and it’s Alpine glaciers are the source of the great rivers Rhine and Rhône. The scenery is incredible and everywhere you look you are reminded of a postcard you’ve seen somewhere before. The country also has at least four cities of equal tourist allure, Geneva, Zurich, Lausanne and Bern. All of these should not be missed on your trip to the country also known as ‘the crossroads of Europe’.
