France is one of the most popular InterRail countries. This summer, there is even one more reason to visit France! And you can join them!
With the InterRail France Pass or the InterRail Global Pass, you can follow the 20 teams in their journey through France. Front row at every demarrage, every col, every struggle for the yellow jersey...
You can perfectly combine visiting the different stages with a holiday at the coast, in the mountains, in Paris...

The 95th Tour de France will be made up of 21 stages and will cover a total distance of 3,500 kilometres. Most of the start and finish lines can be reached perfectly by train. On the official Tour de France website you can find all cities the bikers come through, divided per stage.
Where to stay
Do keep in mind that it can be crowded due to the popularity of the Tour de France. However, travelling by train is much more convenient than the car for example, as there are no detours or traffic jams. It is advisable to make early reservations if you wish to stay in a hotel or camping place nears the finish line. However, in France there are plenty possibilities for camping somewhere near a train station or the end or start of a stage. You could have a look at campingdefrance.com. If you prefer to stay in a ho(s)tel, we recommend you to look at hostelword.com or booking.com.
