Some recommended scenic trains:
Bernina Express (Switzerland)
Cross the Alps from north to south, from Chur, Davos and St.Moritz up to Tirano in Italy. The panorama cars offer you spectacular views of the mountains.

Chemins de Fer de Provence (France)
Travel through the Provence in just over 3 hours from Nice to Digne-les-Bains. This daily touristic train has been active since the late 19th century!

Flåm Railway (Norway)
A spectacular route along the Norwegian fjords, on the route Myrdal - Vatnahalsen - Flåm. Admire the stunning waterfalls and mountain peaks. The train travels slowly and stops at scenic spots.

Inlandsbanan (Sweden)
Great views of the Swedish landscape are guaranteed with the Inlandsbanan (Inland railway). It runs from Kristinehamn in the south to Gällivare in the north, but only in summer!
InterRail Passes are valid on the Inlandsbanan. Seat reservation is recommended, which you can make through the Inlandsbanan website.
Semmeringbahn (Austria)
The historical Semmeringbahn passes through impressive Austrian mountain scenery. The route involves a great number of viaducts and tunnels. Semmeringbahn website (German only)
